Diadara nudged Kaliyah exitedly. "Apparently we would love to." She laughed and grabbed her spear from inside the tent, not bothering to grab the reins. Diadara responded well to pressure, so the reains were really only used in serious situations. While in the tent, she slipped her helmet on, the bone cold against her skin. Once back outside, Diadara lifted her rider onto her back, and Kaliyah situated herself before squeezing Diadara forward. "So where shall we go?"

"Hm, how about out to the feilds.? We'll be close enough to home incase we run into any trouble..." Nakisha said as Lahema began to walk in the direction of Nakisha's tent. "You stubborn mammoth!" Nakisha huffed as she slipped from Lahema's back to quickly dissappear into her tent and then reapear with her helmet on. The bleached bone cool against her warmed skin, a feeling a reasurance spreading through her body. Once Nakisha was perched on Lahema's back, spear in right hand with riens in the left, Lahema began to trudge for the tallgrass fields.

Diadara followed Lahema, furry feet creating large prints in the ground. Kahliyah smiled, the slow beet of Diadara's movements realxing. A sigh escaped her lips and her mind wandered. There wasn't much to think about other then the Raptor Riders, and she was tired of thinking of them. They seemed to dominate her thoughts. So she thought random things like the next night they would be dancing with the Saber Men. She loved dancing, but couldn't seem to find a hsband... Oh well! Maybe it was better to stand alone.

Nakisha giggled and threw her hands into the air, stretching as she smiled towards the rising sun. "Who do you think we'll dance with this year? I've heard they've got a few new Saber men from another tribe. I can't wait to leave!" she said happily, Lahema pausing to fall into step with Diadara. "I love mornings like these..." Nakisha said softly to herself, the fear of Raptor Riders completely slipping form her mind.

Kalyah laughed too, having not herd Nakisha's comment on the morning. "I don't know. The last few years, noone has really been interested in dancing with me. Maybe one of the new members will... I can't wait either." A sigh esca[ed her lips as she dreamed of finally finding a husband. She wasn't that old, but other woman married and had children at younger ages.

"Wait! What's that?" Nakisha said suddenly, jerking Lahema to a sharp stop. Far off in the distant three large bird-like creatures were circling over something hidden in the tallgrass. "What in the world?" Nakisha said softly, Lahema wandering closer and faster towards the thing in the grass.
Nakisha let out a horrified scream, her eyes wide and frightened. What lay in the grass was a large Sabertooth Tiger, stripped of it's harness while it's dead rider laid next to it, stripped of his clothing. There wasn't only one, but two other Sabertooth Tigers lay nearby, their riders much like their companion. "Raptor Riders!" Nakisha snarled, the familiar deep gashes opf a Raptor's talons visible on the Sabertooth Tigers' corpses.

"What?" Kaliyah called, pushing Diadara forward. "Raptor Riders? Wha hap-" She cut off, looking at the corpses. "We have to get back to camp." A horrified look now covered her face, and Diadara began to shuffle her feet nervously. "They could still be close..."

Nakisha remained silent, her body tense and shaking, her eyes remaining wide and sad as well as astonished as she gazed down at the three. Slowly she slipped from Lahema's back, dropping in a crouch in the tallgrass, to walk towards the closest Saber man. There was no stench of death, though the wounds were old. His skin felt warm yet cold at the same time beneath her fingers as she stroked the young man's face, he being no older than her. Then she turned and moved on to the closet Sabertooth Tiger, her hand softly stroking the sleek cheekfur of the animal. She did this to each Saber man and their Tiger, her eyes hardening as she returned to Lahema. She riffled through a small bag tied loosely around Lahema's neck. She withdrew six knives, which she dug into the earth next to the head of each Saber man and his Tiger. She then returned to Lahema once more, this time clampering back up onto the mammoth's back. "They will pay for this my brothers, they will pay." she murmured as Lahema rose her trunk and let out an echoing trumpet. With that both mammoth and rider turned and began to head back towards camp, Nakisha's eyes had a hard look in them.

Kaliyah and Diadara stood motionless for a few moments after Nakisha had left. "I'm so sorry" She finally whispered, turning the mammoth back toward the camp. There had been signs of the Raptor Riders, but this made it all feel real. There would be an attack, Kaliyah was sure of it. She was surprised they had been able to get so close without anyone but thos three noticing them... the thought scared her. That meant the trube may not have time to prepare for an attack before it was apon them.

Nakisha slipped drunkenly from Lahema's back to stagger into her tent, collapsing tiredly onto her bed. She took off her helmet and threw it into a nearby corner, her slim body curling into a tight ball as she buried her face into her hands. She had known all three of those men. Her mother had borken the rules by telling Nakisha as well as showing her who her father as well as brothers were. Those three that had died only meant that her father and two other brothers remained in the Saber men tribe. Silver tears rolled down her cheeks as her frame shook with silent sobs for she knew those three had been traveling to see her, and her alone. "Why me?" she whispered softly, the memory of her mother having been taken by Raptor Riders in a long ago raid began to surface. Now she had lost a total of four people that she loved to those vile people. They were going to pay and she would make sure they did, one way or another.

Kaliyah jumped down easily without stopping Diadara. The mammoth turned to prod her rider gently, not understanding what she was doing. "Go on D, I'll be right there." She whispered, walking slowly toward Nakisha's tent. When she reached the entrance, she raised her voice. "Hey, can i come in?"

Nakisha sniffled softly as she heard Kaliyah's question. "Of course you can." she replied, sitting up as she wipped her eyes with the back of her hand and allowed her hair to curtain her face. Though the tears had stopped on the outside, inside of her, Nakisha was stilling sobbing, her heart aching painfully with each steady breath she took.
