Plot- The year is 3018 np(New Prehistoric) and the world is nothing like we've thought it should be.There's no flying cars, robotic servants, or homes on the moon. The world actually seems to have been thrown into the past rather than the future.Mammoths, Raptors, Triceratops, as well as Saber tooth Tigers now roam the world, their ancestors having reverted back to their prehistoric state. The continents have slowly moved back towards one another to finally re-form Pangaea.Don't fear, the human race still lives and in large numbers might I add, but not as much as they have once been. The human race has split up into four different 'tribes'.There are the Mammoth Women, Saber Men, Raptor Riders, and Tri-top Warriors. The Mammoth Women and the Saber Men co-exist while the Raptor Riders are nowhere near above being cannibals like the animals they ride. The Tri-top Warriors prefer to remain neutral, not choosing to side with either of the three, but hide away far from them to flourish amongst themselves.Amazingly enough the four have learned, over the many centuries, to train and be able to ride specified dinosaurs. For those of you who need some help understanding, the Mammoth women have learned to train and ride Mammoths while the Saber men are able to ride Saber tooth Tigers. The Raptor Riders have learned to train as well as ride the different Raptor species while the Tri-top warriors ride the defensive Triceratops.Though these are the only dinosaurs ridden, they're not the only ones roaming the earth. There are still Brontosaurs, Pterodactyls, and many others that I don't have the time to name. With the constant threat of starvation in this prehistoric landscape as well as the never ending possibility of an attack by a pack of Raptor Riders, will you be able to live in the Prehistoric Future?
Rules: 1. Follow the Forum rules 2. I don't mind maturity at all, just don't go wild, m'kay? 3. I would like a minimum of four sentences at the least. Though writers block is understandable, don't make it an excuse. 4. To join, obviously ask and tell me what gender and which tribe your character's in.

Mammoth Women- A tribe of women who train and ride adolescent mammoths. They wear the skull of their first mammoth's first female child as a helmet at all times except for when they sleep as well as when they dance around a fire with the Saber Men. The Mammoth women and Saber men co-exist, though they must travel a day apart to keep the Sabertooth Tigers from eating the Mammoths. They ride without a saddle, but they've made two sets of reins to control the large beasts. The main reins consist of two long lengths of leather, each end tied to a metal ring attached to a silver band which is connected to the upper part of the Mammoth's tusks. The second set of reins consist of a tick ring attached to the very top part of the Mammoth's ear with each end of a long stretch of leather tied to the ring. When the time comes for a Mammoth to be released, be it too old or too big, the reins are removed as well as the 'helmet' and the rider must hang back at the area where the camp had been and wait for the Saber men to arrive. The woman will ride with the men until she finds a new Mammoth. Once a year the Mammoth women leave their Mammoths behind and travel to meet the Saber men where the un-married woman will dance for a husband and those who are married will retreat to make a child. When a Saber man and a Mammoth woman have a female child, the child will remain with the mother and under no circumstances will she know whom her father is.

Saber Men- Saber men are a tribe of men who train and ride male Sabertooth Tigers. Much like the Mammoth women, they wear the skull of a male Saber-Tiger, though they only wear the skull while ridding for they say it is much too heavy to wear any other time.Unlike the Mammoth women, the Saber men and their Saber-Tigers stay together for their entire lives. When a Saber-Tiger dies the rider must take a cub and ride with another Saber man until the cub is large enough to ride. The Saber-Tiger saddle is basically just a large scale Western style horse saddle made out of the scaely hide of Raptors with leather covering the scales where the skin might make contact with it. The Saber men have two sets of reins to control his Saber-Tiger. The first one is a long stretch of leather attached to a bar of metal with a ring at each end which is set in the Saber-Tiger's mouth, much like a horse's bit. The second set of reins consists of a long length of leather , each end tied to a ring which is attached to a metal band connected to the upper part of the Saber-Tiger's top fangs. When a Mammoth woman and a Saber man have a male child who is old enough to be away from the mother, the mother will have to stay behind to give the child to the father before one of the other Saber men will give her a quick ride to catch up with the other women. A special feature on every Saber man is a Tiger stripe pattern of scar tissue on his face, chest, well really all over his body. This is done at an early age by the father and the scar tissue stretches as the child grows.

Raptor Riders- The Raptor riders are viscious beings, a mix of both men and woman atop one of the most agile and carniverous dinosaurs alive. With a helmet fashioned out of metal and in the shape of a bird's head with the visor sharpened to a spear point. Not much is known about their tecniques or much of anything other than the saddle that sits on the slanted back of the Raptor is crud and fashioned entirely out of the hides of their fellow Raptors. There's only been one set of reins seen on the Raptors, a stretch of leather connected to two of the larger teeth of the beast.

Tri-top Warriors- Nothing much is really known about these humans other than it's a mix of men as well as woman who've been able to mount the defensive creature, Triceretops. On the rare occasion that a small group has been seen, all that was really able to have been seen were two stretchs of leather going around to attach to the two larger horns of the beast by a large silver band.

The soft orange and yellow light given off by the rising sun filtered through a wall of canvas to fall upon the sleeping form of a young woman, perhaps 17 or 18. As the morning's light brightened to glow against her golden blonde hair as well as her tanned skin, turning it a light bronze, she began to softly stir. Thick furs were piled onto her small frame, used as blankets during the cold Winter nights of the New Prehistoric. A large shadow fell upon the young woman's body due to a large figure blocking the sun's light from outside of the tent. The young woman stirred once more, her lagoon blue eyes slowly creaking open before she threw off the multiple blankets. With a soft sigh the young woman sat up, her arms stretching high above her head while her back lightly arched. With a soft grunt she rose to her feet to have her petite hourglass frame revealed to be nearly bare. A large strip of dark brown fur clothed her chest while a short stretch of Mammoth skin wrapped around her waist, two twin flaps running longer than the main skirt, brushing the ground as she walks. With a light rub of her eyes, the young woman walked towards the flap of her teepee style tent, a soft jingling coming from both of her ankles where two golden bands of metal clink together, two per ankle. Without bothering to put on her helmet, the young Mammoth woman stepped out of her tent to glance quickly up at the sun rising as well as the silent tents around her before skirting around her tent, the long grass tickling her feet. A soft nasely snort emminated from behind the young woman's tent, signaling the awakening of a rather primitive and larger looking Elephant, a Mammoth if you will. With a soft peal of laughter, the young woman trotted up to the Mammoth, it's long hairy trunk resting heavily on her shoulder while one of her slender hands stroked the thick fur of the snout, the other stroking the smooth surface of the tusk. With a second snort, the large mammal seemed to be saying 'It's about time, Nakisha, I was getting bored!'. "I'm sorry for the wait Lahema, but you can't blame me for being sleepy when all you do is walk around all day!" the young woman softly whispered to the Mammoth. Indeed the young woman as well as her Mammoth are Nakisha and Lahema, both proud members of the Mammoth Women tribe.

Another young woman of 17 lay inside a teepee, thick furs wrapped around her aswell. Despite the cold night, the blankets were strewn and twisted, only partially covering her thin, musclar figure. She was dressed almost identically as Nakisha, although her strips of fur were a lighter brown and there were no strips falling to reach the ground. The woman groaned and sat up, brushing back strands of her long, red hair to reveal bright gray eyes. Her eyes were rather odd, being pure gray and they seemed to bore into people as she looked apon them, but... there was nothing she could do aout it. As she stood, the two braclets she wore, one on each wrist, jingled quietly, along with the one anklet she wore. Stepping outside, the yellowish orange sun blinded, causing her to lift her small hand to her eyes and curse softly. A small noise from behind the teepee signaled the young woman to walk in that drection were a large, darkbrown mammoth stood. "Good morninig Diadara" Indeed, that was the mammoth's name, and the young woman? Kaliyah, both members of the Mammoth Woman Tribe. Diadara bobbed her head and snorted in a greating as Kaliyah stoked her harch fur.

Nakisha giggled and snickered as Lahema wrapped her trunk securely around her waist to pick her up and set her down on her back, a sign that Lahema wanted to go for a ride. "Alright, Lahema, have it your way. But first, let's go and get Kaliyah. I don't feel safe with those Raptor Riders still about..." Nakisha said softly, digging her heels into the mammoth's shoulders and guiding the mammal's head in the direction of Kaliyah's tent. 'Even with someone else, I don't feel safe. I don't even feel safe sleeping in my tent.' Nakisha thought to herself. Though it had been moons since the Raptor Riders' attack, her tribe had picked up signs that there was another group of Raptor Riders not only behind them, but in front of them. That meant one of two things, either there was another tribe of Saber men and Mammoth women ahead of them, or there were Tri-top warriors. Either way, Raptor Riders wouldn't travle in such close packs like they were now unless it meant being able to take down an enemy, to bad it was her tribe who was stuck in the middle of it.

Diadara snorted softly and lifted her trunk. Kalyah turned around, looking in the direction the mammoth pointed. "Good mornig Nakisha, Lahema." She said, patting Diadara's trunk. "Going for a ride?" A soft smile played across her face as she thought of her last ride. It seemed likely Nakisha would ask her and Diadara to go with her because of the Raptor Riders. Raptor riders... she supressed a shiver. The fear of attack was always there and Kaliyah was getting tired of always watching her back.

"Good morning!" Nakisha called, a large smile tipping up the corner's of her lips. It seemed that Kalyah always seemed to make her smile, even if she was crying. A strange feeling stirred in her chest as Lahema walked closer. "Of course we are! Would you like to come?" she asked brightly, though keeping a tight hold on her spear, a thin white scar becoming visible on her hand, running the length of her slender wrist.
